The Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (M.Sc. in CSE) program has a multi-faceted mission to holistically develop individuals with scientific, research, and technical capabilities suitable for both academia and industry. It aims to prepare students for the 21st-century job market by equipping them with analytical, technical, experimental, and problem-solving skills that address industry challenges while advancing disciplinary and multidisciplinary research. The program also seeks to inculcate sustainable research skills and foster innovations among graduates to meet the demands of the fourth industrial revolution. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of ethical and personal values, encouraging graduates to serve their nation while striving for global excellence.

Program Objectives

The objectives of the M.Sc. in CSE program are:

  1. To produce graduates who can effectively solve the problems in different application domains by investigating, creatively developing, and evaluating computational solutions.
  2. To develop contemporary skills as researchers/project leaders who can produce and document novel publishable research/project works.
  3. To produce graduates who can be successful researchers and also developers to fulfill the demands of computer science and engineering discipline under the canopy of fourth industrial revolution.
  4. To prepare successful professionals with strong fundamental, social, thinking, and personal skills so that they can be aligned to national aspirations and global citizenship.

Program of Study

M.Sc. in CSE program is meticulously designed to provide participants with comprehensive exposure to advanced concepts and practical applications in computer science and engineering.
