Fahiba Farhin, a hard-working academician and researcher, is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IUBAT – International University of Business Agriculture & Technology. Born and raised in Dhaka, she completed her Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) from Holy Cross Girls' High School and her Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) from Holy Cross College, achieving a perfect GPA of 5.00 in both.

Fahiba went on to pursue higher studies at Jahangirnagar University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology (IT), graduating with outstanding CGPAs of 3.81 and 3.90 out of 4.00, respectively.

Her professional journey began at the University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS), where she served as a Lecturer and Course Coordinator. In these roles, she instructed and evaluated students, developed course materials, and actively participated in curriculum development. In addition, she contributed significantly to the Holy Cross College Alumnae Association as the Corresponding & IT Secretary.

Fahiba's research focuses on network security, IoT security, machine learning, deep learning, blockchain, data science etc. She has published multiple research papers in esteemed journals and conferences, showcasing her expertise in these areas. She has been awarded ICT fellowship by the Government Republic of Bangladesh and best paper awards in conference for her research.

Besides her academic and professional pursuits, Fahiba has been actively involved in extracurricular activities. She led the IEEE WIE Affinity Group at Jahangirnagar University and was the President of the Student Council at Holy Cross College. Her leadership and organizational skills have been instrumental in arranging numerous workshops and seminars.

Fahiba Farhin's commitment to education and research continues to make a significant impact in the academic and technological communities, inspiring her students through her knowledge and passion for technology.
