In 1997, Moumita Chanda was born in Cumilla. She graduated from Cumilla Government Women's College with her HSC after completing her SSC at Cumilla Modern High School. She earned a Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (IT) from Jahangirnagar University. Since December 2023, she has been an instructor at IUBAT in the department of computer science and engineering. She is currently a programming C instructor.
Her area of interest is research. Her areas of interest in study are Internet of Things, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
